Spelling is bad and lines are sloppy, but this is a product of 4 large cups of coffee. Caffeine makes my brain see stars, orbits and vortex. In other words…I hallucinate. This is what happened. There is more to be thumb nailed.
Posting a few things from my art folder folder up on Ebay this week. These are smaller drawings I create when I’m working on bigger projects. These drawings contain all the anger, frustration and shame I have to vent in order to keep a level head pushing through the difficult jobs. These appear to be drawings, but I assure you these pieces have a spark of energy in them, mostly negative though. Not a good sales pitch, but the honest truth. Haunting memories I am more than happy to unload.
Here are a few of the 21 items.
Thanks for looking!

Drawn by Me
Thanks for looking at more Permo entries. I have been fleshing out a lot of ideas lately. It’s pretty exciting…and exhausting. Been writing a little bit more. Some friends I have seem to enjoy the stories I write, so I need to find time to make those happen. Been inking pages for MY Emo Vortex art book. Trying to raise colorist money by doing sketch covers. I’m on this Grey Alien sketch cover kick that a few people seem to like, so I’m eeking those out as well. Things are a busy! My buddy Rob is almost finished with film school. We have a few things planned for that also. I’ll save writing about that later. Meanwhile here are some more Permo bloopers…
Just kidding it’s really me Dave. I pretend my pen is blood and Permo is the parchment to which I sacrifice myself in the form of embarrassing self revelation. I have to admit I don’t understand a lot of these thoughts I have. I spend more time than I want to tell trying to figure out the words and examples of things I see in dreams and fake memories. Looking on the internet. I dream about words and examples of things like Neosphere, Velocity compartmentalism, Ionic stasis and my favorite OCv (orbital cross vortex). The best way I can figure to relate the things going on in my noodle is to draw condensed (and silly) versions of these ideas. At least until I can understand the math to back it up. Here is it:
In an artificial future I dream of amputees that are offered robotic prosthetics. Almost super limbs integrated into their nervous system. The only bill they pay is participation in an astronaut space program. They are monitored by control. Atmospheres can be toxic and missions can be very unethical. Control has the power to take over full operation of newly installed limb equipment as user becomes unwilling to participate (which occurs more times than not) I’ve dreamt of these missions.
This is a drawing of a traveler. An aggressive one. A time traveler who is unable to show his face due to fear of a paradox. Travelers move through vortex maps. These maps can calculate seemingly random wormholes that allow travelers to shift through time. There is a process to main travel which is from control. The map is to travel through smaller rings of time (minutes, days, weeks) If detected as an outside force by current time inhabitants a paradox can be created, nulling the map calculated by a history of climate changes and weather patterns. The traveler will be lost forever in a paradox of history.
The fabric of time, when manipulated can in theory literally look like fabric. Jumps through small intervals of time are referred to as “rips”. This is probably due to the theory that molecules (through cause of density) are ripped apart being temporarily demagnetized. By a still indescribable image the molecules first distort looking something like this, then reassembling as if through memory on the opposite side of the fabric. I’ve heard the term “Cheese clothed” used.
Ain’t no story about this guy. He’s just crazy.
Manic morbid thoughts. I swear I’m going somewhere with this. I’d rather show in drawings than words though.
The being responsible for that robotic limb program is a scientist of sorts. It’s the cloned brain of a past known genius. Implanted into a head and torso. Also with a robotic body. It’s body is beta, so it looks a bit clumsy in appearance, but is very efficient. It’s isolation makes it disturbing for another to be around. It’s fascination with a human body and cerebral inscribing (human experiences) is strange and unsettling. I call this weird thing Gepetto on account of it’s recorded first stages of tinkering.
Well here it is. The truth as I have dreamt it. I understand this is fiction, but the visuals I have are becoming vivid, detailed and unnerving. I can’t avoid what I am learning. I can only hope this will make great stories before I go full insane and incoherent.
