A lot to show and tell about this weekend. So much I got distracted with drawing. Wonder Con was this weekend. Met some people. Caught up with some friends, working on a few projects. Like I mentioned a lot. BUT…another day. For now I show a couple of today’s art card distractions>>>
One Life to live
One Life To Live. You know like the old soap opera….aaaaaah whatever, I didn’t expect you to make any sense of it.
“Hobo Respect” is a term Zara and I coined. It means to have respect for hobos. They have it rough, but still manage to make it on their feet and shuffle through another day. You gotta respect the follow through.
On a lighter note I found a red pencil. It keeps breaking every time I sharpen it. A found broken gift is still a gift though. I was happy to find it. The drawing has many imperfections and is skewed a bit. It is the closest to the emotion I can convey, so I can accept its flaws.
I found a red pencil and a two face.
The Pixie King
I want to crash sooo bad. The Pixie King is still a king regardless of size. I had to obey orders to create it’s image.
Last weekend I was up to all kinds of shenanigans. During all my scramblings I managed to commit to some small paintings. I carried a few hand cut pieces of water color paper and a ball point pen. I drew little doodles, then brought them back to my studio where I finished them with water colors. I never really know what to do with these things once I finish them. I posted them on ebay for ten bucks, but no one gave a shit. To be honest I didn’t promote them too well, so I was paid fairly for the effort. Here what I squeezed out the synapse factory:
Moonface from Night Breed
Fishtank Zombie head
MIddle aged kid
The Beak Seeks The Weak
Bubble thoughts of Chicken Pox
