It’s time I finally showed my sneaky progress on the SheTKTD Project. We’re pretty far along in terms of script, costumes, cast and crew. It’s a project many have warned me not to take on. Then there are few who are close enough to me that believe this can actually weather the post apocalyptic slipping interest. As much as I would like to believe this will be an epic tale, my primary goal is much more attainable. I just want to make something cool that will entertain you guys. We are also hoping to earn your trust in producing something we believe is a unique take on what many have told me is a saturated genre. Here are a couple of small clips of videos we shot to get an idea of the direction we want to take in terms of lighting, costumes, locations and all around feel. We still have many more tests to endure. Make up effects will be the next step,
Before we decide to run a kickstarter campaign we have to get a tighter number on what we will need to get this at the level we can realistically meet.
The support for what we have done already has been super huge! This is the reason I have decided to show this unfinished process with you. I want the people who have helped along the way to know even though it’s about the dying, this project is far from dead.
In conjunction with the filming there will be a comic released January 2015. For those who know me personally I have said this before. I MEAN IT NOW! A date is set. With the exception of a couple of pages and some graphic work the First issue is complete!
Earlier this month I announce A comic project called FOWL. This will be the media release template I will be using with SHE comic as well.
Before I sign out I want to mention these people who have been apart of helping me with this crazy dream since day one, week one, year one:
Monique Papp captures in the intense feel of the lost and angry traveler.
My Co-producer Rob told me he looked too clean and young. That’s kind of the point. The goal is for you (the viewer) to witness him change. I’ve seen this guy in action. He is more than able to pull it off.
Last but not least my buddy Joseph Sanchez, his wife Pam who make sure I keep course enduring and entertaing my crazy theories on purpose.
My Co-producer Robert Earl Ray and his wife Melissa. WIthout they’re skill and execution the film movement would not even be an option.
There’s more but this isn’t an expectance speech.
After all…you guys haven’t seen nothing yet.
