A friend of mine invited me to this film marathon at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica California. Aside from the films I’ve seen 100 times each (and loved) there was a new feature REVENGE premiering!
I had no idea what it was. I didn’t look up a trailer online because I was already there.
Damn was it good! I obviously enjoyed the film enough to create a Comic Cover Homage, so yeah, it was pretty cool.
this was the marquee poster inside the theater.
Not only did the film play but after was a Q&A with the director Coralie Fargeat and Matilda Lutz!
Horrible shot I know, but I was in the moment man!
Aero Theater put on a good show!
Today is the official U.S. Release! It was important to me to share this today. Hope you guys dig the work!

I’ve always been a fan of Splatterhouse and storyline. I have also been a fan of the one page comic centerfold featured in many of DC comics printed in the early 1990’s.
So, I decided to re-create the comic! With the help for my colorist bud Allen Passalaqua I did! I’d really like to be in consideration as artist (maybe writer) for a Namco Licensed comic. It’s a long shot, but hey, you know, why not try. I plan on printing a large size poster for this illustration. Obviously I cannot sell this poster with Splatterhouse logo and prepublished writing. By the assistance of modern technology I’m going to create a faux european version called ‘BLOOD CABIN”
It will be rewritten as well to fit the Blood Cabin theme.
Hope you enjoy the obscure video game throw back and maybe show a little poster love.
Thanks as always for reading this far.
A one page comic about being a little too self reliant.
Plan to have this colored and printed in Sassafrass #1
Siena 1949: E`Acceso!
Originally created as a guide to the city Siena printed in Italian 1949.
I’ve taken it upon myself to draw over the pages and re-title it as my new drawing project!
This series will follow my previous line travel drawing project “Broken Storybook” which has enough content to for a two issue mini book (as of now)
I’m going to share a little piece of city trivia of Siena with each post of the project.
But first, the drawing!
The city is universally known for its immense historical, artistic, landscaping heritage and its substantial stylistic unity of medieval urban furnishings as well as the famous Palio .
In 1995 its historic center was incorporated by UNESCO into the WorldHeritage Site .
The city is home to the Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena , founded in 1472and therefore the oldest bank in activity as well as the longest in the world.
Oh, and a Chewbacca sketch cover!
Thanks for reading!
More Broken Storybook pages! I was in a zone for a while. I think I’m winding down with these for a while. Inking the last one felt a little less fun (still fun, but less). Printing will commence soon. For now just accumulating.
