The Salesman: Inks

It’s Saturday morning. I’ve been picking at this for three days now. Since it’s just for fun, I’ve only been putting in 20 minute at a time. Woke early and made some time to finish it. This is the ink only. Hoping to color and add some words soon. I’ve been wanting to print a collection of these one-two page comics. I have enough for a comic, but not quite enough for a book. I’ve been drawing a lot of vampire hunter lately. It’d be cool to create a story. Prior comic obligations keep me busy though.

Some people enjoy stories being read or told before bed. In a way I’m similar. I draw before bed. I let my subconscious tell me stories. Most are not full on, beginning, middle and end. It’s more like scenes and images. The more I practice drawing the more clearer I’m learning to describe. This is one. I don’t know if it’s a dream, movie I watched or just a deep thought, but here it is. I call it the Tentacle Battle .
