Jim Starlin's Breed Homage Art

I’m currently illustrating alternative covers for American Retro Graphics. The illustrations for mostly for the Custom bound hardcover project. Rare out of print comics are collected and bound into a hardcover that has never before existed. A lot of the time the original art from the series is used, but sometimes…I get a crack at it. With help from colorists Allen Passalaqua and Norm Wong some of these covers are looking very cool I must say.

This is the most recent illustration featuring Jim Starlin’s Breed. The composition was originally created by Jim Starlin for Diamond Previews catalog to promote the very first series (There have been three volumes) Published by Malibu Comics.
